CAT6 Ethernet 50'-- stranded or solid?

I've done some research, and my need is to get about 50' of cable to go from the router from the front of a condo to the back office, since Wifi is not an option for my work and there is no ethernet port in that room. It needs to twist around some corners and will be tucked underneath the carpet and shielded. Solid would be better for the long run, but with all the turns required, stranded would seem better. Which is the better option here?
