Hom much to demo tile flooring and carpet?

This is a hard question to answer, it depends on where you live, is the tile on wood or concrete...It's also going to depend on the contractor your asking does he need the work/or does he have plenty. But where i,m from if i was also getting the install job it would be $1.50-$2.00 a sq. ft. for the tile $.17 cents a sq. ft. for the carpet. That's for an average size job say 1000 sq. ft. if its smaller a little more larger a little less. And if all i'm getting is the demo more $
