Career in Culinary(Minneapolis schools)?

These schools are usually pretty expensive and the students more often than not do not get great chef positions. They typically get jobs in restaurants that have strict specifications for the items it serves, and leaves little room for creativity. Also the jobs do not care if you have the certificate from the cordon bleu school or whatever.
